What is the Stephen Ministry?
Stephen Ministry is:

A one-to-one ministry by trained, caring members of our congregation.

A helping relationship focusing on the unique needs of each person.

A commitment to caring and supporting one another, to build a Christ-centered, sharing community.

A response to Christ's instruction to "love one another as I have loved you."

A biblical and educational training program.

A ministry named after Stephen, the first deacon in the early church, commissioned by the apostles.
Who is a Stephen Minister?
A follower of Jesus Christ who, through training has learned skills and developed his/her gifts in order to extend a supporting hand, bringing Christ's healing love to individuals in times of need.
